Dow Electrical & Telecommunications Announces Price Increase in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia

Horgen, Switzerland – 22 September 2011 – As a result of ongoing volatility in the hydrocarbons market, Dow Electrical & Telecommunications, a business unit of Dow Europe GmbH, is announcing a price increase of 100 Euros per metric ton on its wire and cable compounded products and 200 Euros per metric ton for elastomers in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia. This increase will be effective with shipments from 1st October 2011, or as contract terms allow.
